| The Academy was founded in June, 1977. Over 31 years, the educational establishment has gone through a difficult, but rather a successful way of its development - from Dnipropetrovsk Financial College to Dnipropetrovsk State Financial Academy. Dnipropetrovsk State Financial Academy is the only specialized higher educational establishment of economics in Prydniprovya region of Ukraine. Quality management system implementation signifies an application of systematic approach to achieve the main aim of the Academy i.e. ensuring a high quality preparation of the professional staff of Ukraine as an integral part of the world community by:

The Academy offers both full-time and correspondence courses. The main tasks of the Academy • Integration of the Academy to the European Higher Education Area by the introduction of the credit-module system of the educational process. • Formation of respect for the Constitution of Ukraine and the responsibility for compliance with legislation among the participants of educational process. • Ensuring an effective integration of science and higher education based on the synergy between the Academy and research institutions. • Ensuring the harmonious development of individual student, formation highly-spiritual young people, patriots of Ukraine. • Creating and maintaining the system of social protection of the participants of the educational process. • Creating effective and efficient system of strategic resource management of the Academy: - Management System of Human Resources, which aims to the increasing the level of expertise, knowledge and training of staff; - System of identification, provision and maintenance of the infrastructure, necessary to meet state requirements, industry standards and standards of the institution; - System of creation of working environment, needed for improving the provision of educational services, positive impact on motivation, satisfaction and performance; - System of management of the financial resources; - Information System of management as a basic resource of dissemination of the Academy knowledge and decision-making based on facts. • Formation of the structure and scope of educational services in accordance with the requirements of the labor market, customers and other stakeholders. • Implementation of effective and efficient model of the provision of educational services in a position to meet the requirements of the state, customers and other stakeholders based on: - Introduction of the competent approach at all educational levels; - Shaping the content of educational services and new and flexible educational products; - Formation of professional competence of graduates as a competitive advantage in the labor market; - Introduction of interactive teaching methods; - Introduction of modern information technology and teaching aids; - Introduction of modern interactive scientific methods of the educational process. • Improving the efficiency, effectiveness and competitiveness of the results of scientific research, which is the basis and the content of education, source and components of innovative processes. • Development and implementation of the effective and efficient model of the Academy management, based on:

The International affairs office was set up within the structure of Dnipropetrovsk State Financial Academy in 2002. The office helps the teaching staff to take part in international conferences and seminars, to place their papers in international journals, to develop international projects, to deliver lectures and to hold seminars in the educational establishments of Europe. These activities are organized in accordance with international standards. The office assisted in the development of international projects and programmes, working in collaboration with higher educational institutions, regional authorities and non-governmental organizations. |
